Flying!
That little dot is Quinn, Eric, Tyce, and Dallin coming in for landing.
This little plane is only made to carry 600 pounds of people, but a few months ago, the Gilchrist's and us went on a double date in the plane. I won't go into all the details, but let me just tell you that we were well over that weight limit. Bethany was 7 months pregnant at the time, and, well, we aren't all as fit as we should be, so anyway, the plane was heavy. Eric only brought half a tank fo gas to lighten the load a bit, and we were off to Friday Harbor on Orcas Island. We flew over Saddlebag Island, where we camped last summer, and then landed at Friday Harbor. It was a really rough landing, so Eric pulled up, and we looped around to and again. The second time, we didn't land very smoothly either, and since we were so heavy, we decided to go back to Marysville and have dinner there instead, since the Arlington airport has a longer runway. It was so fun to fly over the Puget Sound, and see all the big ships and yachts. There were sailboats too. The sun set while we were flying, and we came home in the dark. It was a great date. The world we live in truly is beautiful.

Lance and Brayden
Lance and Brayden had lots of fun together. Brayden (Kim's oldest) is almost 6 months older than Lance, but Lance is a little heavier.

Lance's Birthday!
Kim was asking me if Lance is always so smiley, and I said yeah, he really is. She asked how he knew that things were funny, and how he know when to laugh. I said that I didn't think he was laughing because it's funny, I think he just laughs because he's so happy. So to prove it, I said "I like cheese." and Lance just laughed and laughed. So I kept saying it, and he kept laughing. It was pretty funny. He is such a sweet baby. He loves to hug, and will lay his head down on anyone's shoulder. Everyone at church thinks that they are Lance's favorite, because he reaches for everyone. There was a man at stake conference a few weeks ago that we have never met, but Lance smiled at him, then reached for him, so the man picked him up, and with tears in his eyes hugged Lance and said thanks to me for letting him hold him, because he was really missing his grandkids. I LOVE having Lance in our family! (especially since I know that I really am his favorite!)
