First Day of School

Kayla started all day Kindergarten this year, and Tyce started 2nd grade. They both LOVE school, well, Kayla loves it, and Tyce endures it. She can't wait to do her homework when she gets home, and she's so happy to tell me all about her day. She comes home and says "Ok Mom, Homework time. I need a pencil and a snack! Lets go Mom! Pencil and a snack!" I forgot to take the camera as they got on the bus in the morning, but I remembered it when I picked them up.

This is a picture that Kayla drew, it's all of us at the Movie Theatre. She was explaining to us how the seats really are the same size, but they look like they're getting smaller, and that's just because they're getting farther away. We thought that was pretty smart for a 5 year old who has never had an art class!

First Day of Swimming Lessons

Tyce, Kayla, and Rett started swimming lessons this week! They love it. Kayla and Garrett are in a class together, and Tyce is in a different pool, but thankfully they're all at the same time.

Greenwater Lakes Hike

Kayla, Garrett, Quinn and I hiked to Greenwater lakes, (along with Kim, Sean, Brayden, Asher, Grandma, Scott, Keith, and friends Andrew and Joe.) It was so fun! I love that our family enjoys doing outdoor things together.

On Memorial Day this year we went to Lake Tapps. Of course we had a blast! I didn't bring my swim suit since I didn't plan on skiing, but you know me, I couldn't resist!

Girls Camp

I just got home from Girls Camp on Saturday afternoon... and it was a huge success! I was nervous about it since I am 6 1/2 months pregnant, but we had some awesome girls and awesome leaders that were so helpful, and everything turned out perfectly. We had all 12 girls in a huge tent, and they did great, but I think that next time we'll limit it to about 10 people. It was pretty crowded. We went Horse back riding, Hiking into Greenwater Lakes, we did a service project with weed whackers, we went Water Skiing and Tubing at Lake Tapps, and we went Rock Climbing in Wilkeson. I wasn't planning on participating in all these activities, but I couldn't resist. The girls kept rubbing my belly and saying how this baby is going to be adventurous since he's already done so many things. They all tried to feel him kick all week. I think my belly is polished smooth from all the rubbing! We all had a blast, and had no major injuries, so it was a great success! Thanks Mom and Dad Johnson for keeping the kids, they loved it.
