The answer's Yes...
Hey everyone, I know the rumor's been floating around, so I thought I'd just say YES! We are having another baby in October. (Probably the 2nd, I'm having a C-section, but it's not scheduled yet.) This will be our last one, so that makes the pregnancy seem a little easier. Well, mentally anyway. My body is exhausted, but it's so nice knowing that this is the last time. We were overwhelmed when we found out... it was definetely a surprise, but we are excited. We find out on May 14th if it's a boy or a girl, so that's exciting! I'll post the ultrasound pics when we get them. Life is good!

House Update
Sorry it's taken so long... life gets busy! Here are some pictures of the remodel:
These are new couches (I don't konw what I was thinking getting such a light color... I've regretted that several times since, but they are fairly easy to clean!) and we got new carpet throughout the whole house. (yeah!) We also moved our piano to where our table was and the table to the piano room. I didn't want the kids to eat on the new carpet. It makes the living room bigger, so I like that, but I don't like having our company walk right into the dining room.
I LOVE the granite counter tops! They're really pretty, but the think that I wasn't expecting, is that since they're so much colder than regular countertops, it takes my bread longer to raise since the dough gets cooled down so much while I'm forming it into loaves. But now that I'm used to that, it doesn't bother me.
I tiled this floor and counter myself! It was fun to learn something new.
It used to be carpet under the barstools, but Quinn added the wood here to match the kitchen and dining room. I LOVE it. It's so much easier to clean! 4 kids under 6 make a lot of messes!

I just wanted to post a quick update on our family... we're still living in a hotel, hopefully we'll be able to move back into our house this week. The counter tops should come tomorrow, and then all we have left is the insulation and the heat ducts under the house, and then the trim. I'll have some touch up painting to do after that, and tons of laundry, but at least we'll be able to be back home. I'm ready for the "suite life" to be over! We have eaten out at every restaraunt in town, and for anyone visiting Marysville I would recomment Froso's. It's a little ma and pop, hole in the wall restaruant, but it is delicious.

Count Your Many Blessings
You don't always see your blessings until you look back. I am surprized how many blessings have come just from our pipes braking while we were in Utah for Christmas.
1.) The insurance is not only reimbursing us for the hotel that we will have been in for a month, but also some eating out expenses!
2.) When we moved into our house, the carpet had holes in most of the door frame areas from pets of previous owners. We asked them to replace the carpet before we bought the house, but they counter offered with $1000 credit. Not enough to recarpet, so we didn't, but took the credit and bought the house anyway. Now all the carpet in our livingroom needs to be replaced from the water damage, and since building materials are so cheap with the economy the way it is, we are able to recarpet the entire house!
3.) The insurance inspector and our contractor agreed on a very good price for us to be paid to put our house back together, so everything plus some will be covered!
4.) Lisa had painted the stripes in the kitchen, and wants to repaint again herself, so that is saving us $800 instead of paying someone, which the insurance included in what they're paying us.
5.) We have wanted to learn how to tile a floor, so we decided to tile the bathroom floor ourselves, which saved us more money.
6.) We paid just over $1000 for pergo wood flooring from Costco for our kitchen to put in ourselves, which subtracting the cost of the flooring we bought from what the flooring guy quoted us, we're still saving $2600 doing it ourselves!!
7.) The extra money we're saving will easily pay off our $500 deductible, and the $600 we had to pay out of pocket for the plumbing.
8.) We now have nice new AquaPEX plumbing in the kitchen, which actually expands when it freezes so it won't break!
9.) Since we're saving so much money doing the flooring and painting ourselves, we're getting a granite slab countertop in the kitchen!!
10.) We have such great neighbors and friends that have had us over for meals almost every day.
11.) The insurance is covering everything, which in itself is helping out a lot of the people who are putting our house back together, who are struggling and needed this extra work during such a hard economic time.
12.) It couldn't have come at a better time, because even though we had to come home from Utah a week early, the drive was amazing for wintertime, with no weather troubles at all, and a lot of Washington flooded right after we got home! We most likely wouldn't have made it home if we had tried coming back a week later when we had planned!! All the pictures below are exactly where we were driving when we came back from Utah (except for the waterfall which I included to also show the extent of the flooding, and some of you have seen it in person, so you can see how much extra water there is).

Update
Our house is still in the demolition phase, it's taking way longer than I thought it would. Hopefully we'll hear from the insurance on Friday and be able to start re-building. I thought living in a hotel would be fun, but I'm tired of it. I really should appreciate having someone else vacuum my floor and make my bed, but I really miss my house. I guess the good thing is that I'm excited to get back to cooking and cleaning. The carpet will be replaced, the floor in the kitchen and piano room, including the subflooring, the cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen, the countertop in the kitchen, the couch, part of the drywall, the insulation under the house and in the bottom part of the walls, and the heat vent system under the house. I think that's all... how long will that take? I am excited to get new carpet. I just keep telling myself that.
